The author has lived in England, France and he currently resides in America, so he is not actually sure where he is from, or where he is going.  All his life he has been a geeky scientist and is proud of this fact.  Mark was born in the North of England in a small village called Hedon, son of David and Hilary, brother of Paul. In his adolescent years he desperately wanted to go and see the world and decided that his love of science was the best way to achieve this goal.  He journeyed from Hedon to Liverpool to Manchester to Cambridge to Strasbourg, France and finally to New Jersey USA and he hasn’t stopped yet.  He credits this journey to studying hard and always loving what he was doing.

 

The northern hemisphere guy Mark is married to his wonderful southern hemisphere wife Cassia. Her Brazilian energy often keeps the stubborn Yorkshire man moving in the right direction.  They have a blended family of four amazing boys and two dogs.  We all still live in New Jersey but for how long who knows?
